- Issuance of receipt number: Within 3 working days from the date of receiving valid dossiers and payment of declaration fees as prescribed.
- Notification of incomplete dossiers: Within 5 working days if the dossier does not meet the requirements, the agency will notify in detail for editing.

The cost of a cosmetic declaration consulting service depends on the number of declaration dossiers at the same time, specifically:
- 01 product: 2,500,000 VND
- From 02 – 04 products: 2,300,000 VND (each product)
- From 05 – 10 products: 2,100,000 VND (each product)
- From 11 products or more: 1,800,000 VND (each product)

The time for receiving dossiers and issuing cosmetic declaration numbers from the date the dossier is submitted and accepted as valid is 15 working days. However, this time is often longer than the regulation, ranging from 30 to 40 working days.

The cosmetic declaration number is valid for 5 years from the date of issuance. After the 5-year period expires, for the cosmetic product to continue to be circulated, the owner must carry out the cosmetic re-declaration procedure to extend the circulation validity.
